Jinjett Wattanasin, known professionally as Jaonaay, was born on 28 June 2001 in Bangkok, Thailand, and is a singer and actor. He began playing drums at eight and later learned keyboard and guitar, performing with his siblings at his father Jetrin Wattanasinâs 20thâanniversary concert in 2012. Jaonaayâs professional debut came at 16 when he signed with Jaymidi, a label owned by his father, and released the single "à¸à¸à¸¥à¸°à¸à¸±à¹à¸" in 2017, which quickly amassed over one hundred million views online and earned Song of the Year at the 2018 Nine Entertainment Awards. He followed with "à¹à¸à¸à¸à¸à¸à¸£à¸±à¸" (2018) and "à¸à¸·à¸à¸à¸µà¹à¸à¸²à¸§à¹à¸à¹à¸¡à¸à¹à¸²" (2019), expanding his presence in the Thai pop scene. In 2020, he ventured into acting with the role of Bank in the television adaptation of Bad Genius, also composing the soundtrack track "à¹à¸à¸à¸£à¸±à¸à¹à¸¡à¹à¹à¸à¹". His subsequent singles "à¹à¸à¸°à¸«à¸±à¸§à¹à¸" (2021) and "à¸à¸´à¸à¹à¸à¸à¸à¸°à¸à¹à¸à¸" (2025) continued to chart in Thailand.
