Waruntorn Paonil, known professionally as Ink Waruntorn, was born on February 23, 1994, in Thailand. She began her career at the age of 12 by starring in the music video for Four-Mod's "Dek Wunwai" and subsequently joined RS Music's Kamikaze label. In 2007, Waruntorn debuted as a member of the girl group Chilli White Choc, but left the group in 2009 to focus on her studies. In 2015, Waruntorn returned to the music scene with a lead role in the political romance film Snap and signed with Boxx Music as a solo artist. Her first single "Insomnia" was released in 2016 and topped both the Cat Radio chart and the Fungjai chart, earning a spot on Joox's Top 50 Thai Songs of the Year. Waruntorn released her debut extended play Bliss in 2017, which included all songs from her first five singles. Waruntorn continued to release notable singles such as "รูà¹à¹à¸à¹à¸«à¸±à¸§à¹à¸ (à¸à¸²à¸ 'ภาà¸à¸¢à¸à¸à¸£à¹ Gravity of Love')" in 2018, "à¸à¸µà¹à¸à¸à¹à¸§à¸¢à¸à¸°(Glad)" in 2019. In September 2019, she revealed during her concert "Secret Between Us" that she had been diagnosed with a large uterine fibroid and underwent surgery shortly after. Following her recovery, she released "ลà¸à¹à¸¡à¹à¹à¸à¹à¸à¹à¸§à¸¢à¹à¸«à¹à¸¥à¸·à¸¡ (Erase)" in 2020, and in 2021, began her voice acting career with the title role in the Chinese animation The Legend of Hei, for which she also sang the theme song. Waruntorn received the Mnet Asian Music Award for Best Asian Artist in 2020.
