Biography

Born on October 17, 1987 in Batesville, Mississippi, country balladeer Jameson Rodgers stepped out with his debut self-titled EP in 2016 after moving to Nashville in 2010 and making a dent on the city's world-famous music scene. A follow-up EP arrived two years later and in 2019, the singer-songwriter signed a recording deal with River House Artists/Columbia Nashville. Written by Hardy, C.J. Solar and Jake Mitchell and recorded by Jameson Rodgers, the Gold-certified "Some Girls" was a breakthrough hit for the country artist in 2020, peaking at Number 1 on the Country Airplay chart and at Number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100. Also that year, he unbottled booze-loving single "Cold Beer Calling My Name," which featured vocals from labelmate Luke Combs and was included on Jameson Rodgers's 2021's In It for the Money EP. Alongside his own creations, he has forged a successful career writing for others, co-penning Platinum-selling hits for Florida Georgia Line (Top 10 single “Talk You Out of It”) and Chris Lane (chart-topper “I Don’t Know About You”), as well as writing for Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan.
