Jamâ¯9, a Japanese pop band originating from Shizuoka, Hamamatsu, was formed on 13â¯Marchâ¯2003 by its founding members, including MC Prince.YK, MC Gizâ¯âMo, and DJ Mocky. The group initially performed in local music bars and released independent recordings before signing with Dreamusic, Inc. Their debut majorâlabel album, Kizuna, was issued on 20â¯Julyâ¯2011 and peaked at numberâ¯77 on the Oricon album chart; earlier releases such as ROOKIE PLAYERS (26â¯Augustâ¯2009), 家æ (23â¯Juneâ¯2010), åéª (27â¯Octoberâ¯2010), and è±æï½å¹¸ãã«ãããã¦ï½ (27â¯Aprilâ¯2011) laid the groundwork for their evolving sound.
