Biography

A veteran collective of the 1990s acid jazz scene, Jaga Jazzist has remained loyal to the Ninja Tune label since its inception. The variable-geometry Norwegian outfit is a specialist in the art of weaving trip-hop and nu-jazz atmospheres, pioneered by the albums A Livingroom Hush (2001) and The Stix (2003). Five years after the post-rock colors of 2005's What We Must, Jaga Jazzist released the jazzy One-Armed Bandit.
