The German band In-Mood was formed in 1999 as a studio project by producers Michael Holm and Alex Christensen. The project moves stylistically between Eurodance, pop and electronic dance music. The aim is a modern sound with catchy melodies and clear choruses. In 1999, In-Mood released the single "The Last Unicorn". The title is based on the song by America from the animated film of the same name. In-Mood's version becomes the band's biggest success. The song reaches number 8 in the German single charts and number 5 in Austria. Following the success of the single, the album Elements (1999) is also released. The repertoire includes dance-pop with clear Eurodance elements. After the early 2000s, the project only appeared sporadically.
