Biography
iiso (born Kim Lee-so in 1997) is a South Korean singer-songwriter known for her dreamy vocal style and emotionally rich soundscapes. She debuted on July 3, 2022, under the name iiso with the digital single "Signs" and quickly garnered attention for her unique blend of K-pop and alternative pop elements. Initially signed with Mine Field from 2022 to 2024, she began working independently in 2024, continuing to craft introspective and genre-blending music on her own terms. Her first EP, COMI, was released on November 23, 2022, showcasing her artistic range and lyrical depth. In 2023, she released the singles âSalad Daysâ (May 16), âBlack Diamondâ (October 24), and âAuroraâ (January 26, 2024), all of which expanded her sonic identity while resonating with listeners through honest storytelling. She followed up with the digital single âAshâ on November 24, 2024, and later released her full-length album of the same name on March 14, 2025, marking a significant milestone in her musical career.
