Biography

I Love You but I've Chosen Darkness is an American indie-rock band from Austin, Texas, formed in 2003. The group consists of vocalist Christian Goyer, guitarists Daniel Del Favero and Ernest Salaz, bassist Edward Robert, and drummer Tim White. Their initial release was the self-titled EP I Love You but I've Chosen Darkness (2003). In 2006, they released the debut album Fear Is on Our Side (2006), which was produced by Paul Barker of Ministry on the Secretly Canadian label. The album features the single “According to Plan” (2006) and received comparisons to bands including Explosions in the Sky and Interpol. Following a period of inactivity starting in 2007, the band released their second album, Dust (2014). Discography releases also include the single “Faust” (2014).
