Biography

Emilio Dimitri, aka HLZ, is an Italian drum'n'bass DJ and producer. He grew up in Milan and started out as a party organizer with the group Hertzquake, before taking the artist name Hellraizer, which became HLZ. Resident DJ at the Pergola club, he moved to London and formed the Need for Mirrors duo with Joe Moses, of which he was a member between 2009 and 2013. He continued as a collaborator on the Rotor and Blow Fish EPs in 2014, and continued his own career begun in parallel with the singles "Venus", "Get the Blues" and "Secret Diva". Following releases for Integral, The Dreamers and Dispatch, HLZ signs with Metalheadz for the Eternal EP (2019), followed by Amethyst (2020). Other EPs include In Between (2021), How I Feel (2021) and Rust (2025), before the release of his debut album All My Life in 2026.
