Glenda Valesca Hernández Aguayo, known as Hermana Glenda, was born on January 5, 1971, in Parral, Chile. She is a Chilean singer and Catholic nun with Spanish nationality. Her parents were professors, and she had her first encounter with Christianity at age fifteen while singing in a cathedral. In 1988, she joined the Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation.
Hermana Glenda's musical career started when she released A solas con Dios in 1998 under Producciones la RaÃz. She later studied theology in Rome and psychology at the Pontificia Universidad de Salamanca. In 2003, she performed in Mexico and the United States, marking her international debut. Notable albums include Hermana Glenda Live (2008), A Solas con Dios (2010), El Señor es mi Pastor (2011). She has been recognized for her evangelization efforts through music, including a concert in Santo Domingo, República Dominicana.
