Henry Freitas is a Brazilian singer-songwriter who has made a name for himself with his electrifying forró performances and genre-blending music style. His career took off in 2023 with the hit "Tem Café," a reimagining of a track by Gaab and Hariel, which climbed the Hot 100 and gained traction across streaming platforms. Originally dreaming of a career in soccer, Henry Freitas shifted to music professionally in his late teens, relocating to Rio Grande do Norte where he connected with key figures who helped shape his path. His live shows, characterized by a fusion of forró, pagode, funk, and trap, have earned him immense popularity, drawing fans with their fresh and diverse approach. Terapia 1000%, his debut album, arrived in 2023 and was followed by other popular LPs such as Tudo Vira Terapia and Toca Que Eu Quero Ouvir, both released in 2024. The latter featured the hit single "Imã de Problema" with Mc Th. From there, Henry Freitas turned his 2024 momentum into a bigger national breakthrough in 2025: âTando,â his collaboration with Nuzio Medeiros and Kadu Martins, climbed the Billboard Brasil Hot 100, and by late January he was reported to hold the Number 1 and number 2 spots on streaming at the same time with âTandoâ and âImã de Problema.â He also launched the Terapya label and touring project in 2025, while continuing to expand his release run with tracks such as âMatch Perfeitoâ with MC Rogerinho and âBobo é Euâ with Diego & Victor Hugo. Later that year he opened a new audiovisual phase with Paralelos, recorded in Recife, issuing Paralelos Vol. 1 (Ao Vivo) in October and Paralelos Vol. 02 in November; around the same period, his version of âCoração de Papelâ was used in the soundtrack of Globoâs telenovela Três Graças. In 2026 he consolidated that cycle with the live album Paralelos (Ao Vivo), made his first TV Globo appearance on Caldeirão com Mion, returned to Globo on Encontro com PatrÃcia Poeta, and kept the release pace moving with âà do Patrãoâ alongside Mano Walter and the EP Esse é o Meu Forró - Caruaru.
