A rapper from Brussels, HD la Relève started out as part of a collective called New School before going solo. But he chose to conceal his identity so as not to disrupt his parallel career as a top-level sportsman. As a rapper, he distinguishes himself by an eclectic style, evolving on dance instrumentals as well as drill, the common denominator being his account of life in his neighborhood. He began by releasing "Alpha " in 2021, followed by a series of tracks called Mobulu, the most prominent of which were "Milli Milli", "Sombre Mélodie " and "El Pichichi ". In 2023, he released his first album, Dieu, Mes Frères et le Fer, from which "C'est le Binks" was taken as a single. The opus also featured several collaborations, with Gradur, ASHE 22, KeBlack and Hamza, who appeared on two tracks, "Somebody" and "Ãlastiqué". On its release, the album made an appearance in the French album chart at number 175.
