Hans Edler is a Swedish musician and producer born on March 23, 1945, in Stockholm. During the 1960s, he performed with the bands Ghostriders and WE4, focusing on guitar rock. Edler became a pioneer of electronic pop in Sweden with the release of his self-produced 1971 album, Elektron Kukéso. He followed this with the Spökhistorier project in 1972. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Edler transitioned to recording cover versions, including the Jukebox Graffiti series; the second volume reached number 46 on the Swedish charts in 1978. His work also explored disco through the albums Space Vision and Disco-Time, both released in 1979. During the 1980s, he worked as a television producer and composed choral music. Edler later established a career as a 1960s revivalist. In 2009, his album Remember the Sixties reached number 8 on the Swedish charts. The 2010 single âBlack Fenderâ reached Number 1 in Sweden.
