Biography

Haffit David Arregoces Martínez, born in July 2002 in Riohacha, Colombia, is a rising star in the vallenato music scene. Known for his charismatic stage presence, he has quickly garnered a loyal following that eagerly supports his performances and new releases. In 2024, he gained recognition by participating in the ‘Best Youth Vallenato Group of the Year’ category at the Upar Awards, alongside his collaborator Jafid Nazar, marking a key milestone in his burgeoning career. After touring across Colombia and expanding his reach to Venezuela, with performances in cities like Maracaibo, Machiques de Perijá, and La Villa del Rosario. Throughout his journey, he has impressed audiences with his covers of classic vallenato songs and has released several well-received singles in the past year. Notable tracks include "La Charada," "En Otro Cuento," and "Te Borré de Mi Vida," which solidified his place as a promising young talent in the genre. The live album Vallenatos Live, his first full-length album, came out in 2023 and featured accordionist Arturo Lanao. The live EP Se Metió Turquía alongside Jafid Nazar followed it later that year, which featured the popular track "A un Amor Prohibido." His collaboration with the accordionist continued on the live releases Se Metió Turquía 2 and +Vallenato, both released in 2024.
