Biography
Derwin Dicker, born in 1980 in Peckham, London, is an electronic music producer known as Gold Panda. Raised in Chelmsford, he studied at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London and lived in Japan, experiences that informed his sound. Gold Panda cut several limitedâissue 7âinch singles in 2009 before signing with Ghostly International and releasing his debut album Lucky Shiner in 2010. He followed with Companion (2011) and Half of Where You Live (2013), the latter arriving on Ghostly in June. In 2016, the artist moved to City Slang for Good Luck and Do Your Best, then released On Reflection as Selling with Jasâ¯Shaw in 2018, and The Work in Novemberâ¯2022. The 2013 single "Brazil" remains one of his tracks, and his catalog continues with the album TONâ¯UP, released in Juneâ¯2026.
