Biography

Gabriel Ângelo Furtado de Oliveira, professionally known as Grelo or De Ângelo, is a Brazilian arrocha singer, songwriter, and arranger born in 1997 in Anápolis. Grelo began his career as a prolific composer, crafting over 500 songs for renowned sertanejo, forró, and arrocha artists, including hits like "Esqueça-Me Se For Capaz" (Marília Mendonça and Maiara & Maraísa), "Erro Gostoso" (Simone Mendes), and "Alô Ambev (Segue Sua Vida)" (Zé Neto & Cristiano). In 2024, he transitioned to a solo career with the support of Henrique & Juliano, interpreting his original works and covers. His breakout singles "Só Fé" and his rendition of "Vida Loka - Parte 1" by Racionais MCs reached the top of the streaming and Billboard Brasil charts, showcasing his versatile talent and emotional depth. That same year, he released his debut album É o Grelo, featuring chart-topping tracks like "Só Fé," which hit number 1, and "De Graça ou Pagando," which peaked at number 9. This success was followed by the live album Grelo (Ao Vivo Em Salvador) in 2025.
