Biography
Invited to Rock en Seine 2012, Caen band Granville's naïve pop is inspired by the yéyés of the sixties. Formed in 2011, Granville first won the Ampli Ouest France springboard competition in November. Demonstrating more freshness than transcendent originality, Granville was invited to take part in the Rock en Seine festival in August 2012 with the support of SFR Jeunes Talents. In June 2012, the band released their first single entitled "Jersey". The video clip for its track "Le slow" features images from Eric Rohmer's film Pauline à la plage, which fit perfectly with its world. Granville set sail with Les Voiles in February 2013.
