Biography

Gracey, real name Grace Barker, is an English singer-songwriter born on February 20, 1998 in Brighton, Sussex. She first came to prominence as a songwriter at the age of 16, joining the Xenomania production team after posting demos online, which led to her writing for the likes of Jonas Blue, RAYE, Olly Murs, Sub Focus, Rita Ora and Kylie Minogue. She launched her solo career with the single "Different Things" in March 2019, taken from her debut EP Imposter Syndrome, released in September 2019 on the Polydor label. She follows this up with the single "If You Loved Me", when in December 2019, her collaboration with 220 Kid on "Don't Need Love" becomes a major hit, reaching #9 in the UK charts and remaining in the top 10 for two weeks, certified platinum and nominated for a Brit Award. Her second EP, The Art of Closure (November 2020), features nine tracks, including "Don't Need Love" and "Alone in My Room (Gone)". October 2021 sees the release of the Fragile EP, available in electro and acoustic versions. The year 2022 sees the collaboration with Jax Jones and Martin Solveig on "Lonely Heart", which reaches 70ᵉ in the UK charts. After leaving the Polydor label, Gracey pursued her career as an independent artist with several singles and various versions, including "Delirium" (2024), then "Rhetorical Questions", "Back to Then" and "Gimmicks", all of which feature on the Ladybug EP (2025).
