Stefan Altenburger, born 1968 in Zürich, Switzerland, is a Swiss electronic musician and DJ known professionally as Goldenâ¯Boy. After gaining recognition as a visual artist-winning the Swiss Federal Prize for Design in 1991 and the Swiss Federal Prize for the Arts in 1994-Altenburger turned to electronic dance music in the 1990s under the aliases Klettermax and Goldenâ¯Boy, releasing the Klettermax EP on Source Records in 1998. His breakthrough came with the club hit "Rippinâ¯Kittin" and the 2001 album Or, which featured vocal contributions from Missâ¯Kittin and was released by Source Records. In 2003 he followed with the "Autopilot" single. Throughout his career Goldenâ¯Boy collaborated with Missâ¯Kittin on several tracks, toured across Europe, and contributed remixes for artists such as PeterLicht, Knarf Rellöm & DJ Patex, and Saalschutz.
