Biography
Born Marty Zambotto, the Australian-French singer better known as Go-Jo was born in Manjimup on November 25, 1995. A songwriter, composer, producer, and performer, he grew up in a remote area of Western Australia in a family of French descent on his fatherâs side and learned to play the guitar at the age of thirteen. He wrote songs for other artists before moving to Sydney and developing his own career in an original electro-pop style. He recorded about twenty singles without releasing an EP or album until âMilkshake Man, â which represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2025. The song, performed in Basel during the second semifinal, failed to qualify for the final but charted in several countries, notably reaching No. 64 in the United Kingdom. Following the release of the duet âAppetiteâ with Erika Vikman, Go-Jo followed up in 2026 with the singles âSupersonic, â âNervous,â and âSweat,â all included on his debut album, *The Go-Jo Variety Show*.
