Biography

Glitterbust is an American experimental electric guitar duo, formed in 2015 by Kim Gordon (of Sonic Youth) and Alex Knost. The band took its name from a song by Royal Trux from their Twin Infinitives album. Their self-titled debut album was released on Burger Records on March 4, 2016. The album showcases their raw and energetic sound, combining experimental electric guitar work with alternately ambient and abrasive textures. Glitterbustâs music drew attention for its unconventional approach and the interplay between Gordon and Knost.
