Lukas Agustinho was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1994. He began making music in his churchâs worship group at age 10 as a bassist, later moved toward singing and songwriting, and first reached a wider audience after a cover of Gabriela Rochaâs âLugar Secretoâ circulated online. That breakthrough led into a run of high-profile gospel collaborations, including Kemuelâs âAlgo Novoâ in 2020, Aline Barrosâs Portuguese version of âA Bênção (The Blessing)â the same year, and Gabriela Rochaâs âHosana.â He started building a solo catalog with the EP Lukas Agustinho (Acústico) in 2021, followed by the live singles âO Escudo + Sou Um Milagre (Ao Vivo)â and âEsperança (Ao Vivo)â in 2022. In 2023 he reunited with Gabriela Rocha for âTu Ãs Poderoso (Ao Vivo),â and in 2024 he remained active through singles such as âJeová (Acústico)â and âSião / Derrama (Ao Vivo)â as well as the collaboration âCanção Que Não Envelheceâ with Julliany Souza. A bigger solo statement arrived in 2025 with his album Yahweh, which included songs such as âLouve (Ao Vivo),â âToca em Mim de Novo,â and âNão Há um Nome Igual,â alongside the single âSeu Poderâ with Lecrae and the collaborative EP Yahweh Se Manifestará with Oasis Ministry. In 2026 he continued that phase with âEscreve Meu Nome,â âO Vento Encontra o Fogo (Ao Vivo),â and âTeu Toque.â
