Biography

Lukas Agustinho was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1994. He began making music in his church’s worship group at age 10 as a bassist, later moved toward singing and songwriting, and first reached a wider audience after a cover of Gabriela Rocha’s “Lugar Secreto” circulated online. That breakthrough led into a run of high-profile gospel collaborations, including Kemuel’s “Algo Novo” in 2020, Aline Barros’s Portuguese version of “A Bênção (The Blessing)” the same year, and Gabriela Rocha’s “Hosana.” He started building a solo catalog with the EP Lukas Agustinho (Acústico) in 2021, followed by the live singles “O Escudo + Sou Um Milagre (Ao Vivo)” and “Esperança (Ao Vivo)” in 2022. In 2023 he reunited with Gabriela Rocha for “Tu És Poderoso (Ao Vivo),” and in 2024 he remained active through singles such as “Jeová (Acústico)” and “Sião / Derrama (Ao Vivo)” as well as the collaboration “Canção Que Não Envelhece” with Julliany Souza. A bigger solo statement arrived in 2025 with his album Yahweh, which included songs such as “Louve (Ao Vivo),” “Toca em Mim de Novo,” and “Não Há um Nome Igual,” alongside the single “Seu Poder” with Lecrae and the collaborative EP Yahweh Se Manifestará with Oasis Ministry. In 2026 he continued that phase with “Escreve Meu Nome,” “O Vento Encontra o Fogo (Ao Vivo),” and “Teu Toque.”
