Biography
Originally from the Ardèche region of France, Gaël Faure tried his luck on the Nouvelle star TV talent show in 2006. Beaten out by Christophe Willem and Miss Dominique, he has no lasting memories of the experience. Nor did his first album, Jardin en Ville, which failed to sell well in 2008. Determined, Gaël Faure set out to find his true voice in French folk, which suited him perfectly. Signed to the Jive Epic label, Gaël Faure released the singles "On dirait l'Islande" and "Tu me suivras" in 2013, demonstrating that he had taken the right path. The fruit of five years' work, the album De Silences en Bascules was released in February 2014.
