Their first EP, Wenn Ich Ein Junge Wär, was released in August 2008, featuring the single "Wenn ich ein Junge wär", which reached number 16 on the charts. The band's self-titled debut album followed later that month. In 2008, Fräulein Wunder performed at Rock am Ring and appeared in a multi-week series called "Bandtagebuch" on VIVA Live!. They represented Hessen at the Bundesvision Song Contest in 2009 with "Sternradio", finishing sixth. Despite their early success, Fräulein Wunder disbanded in December 2010.
