A songwriter, composer, musician, and producer, Frankie Archer is a folk artist from Northumberland in northeastern England. Blending violin, vocals, samples, and electronic sounds, she reinvents traditional Northumberland folk songs with a modern production style. She emerged on the British folk scene in the early 2020s, gaining recognition through live performances, festivals, and support from BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Introducing, before being named an artist to watch by The Guardian. She released the EP Never So Red in 2023, followed by Pressure & Persuasion in 2024 and the album The Dance of Death in 2026.
