Juan Francisco Quintero Mendoza, known as Frank Quintero, was born on November 27, 1952, in Caracas, Venezuela. He started his musical career at a young age, forming the rock band Licmilaya and later La Fe Perdida with his brother Leo. In 1974, he formed Frank Quintero y los Balzehaguaos, blending various musical styles like jazz, ballads, and Latin music. Their debut album Despues De La Tormenta was released in June 1976. Throughout the late 1970s and 1980s, Quintero released several albums, including Travesia (1977), Hechizo (1978), and De Noche Y Con Poca Luz (1980). Notable songs include "QuÃmica", "La Dama de la Ciudad, and "Apóyate en mÃ". In 2011, Quintero released Guerreros de luz, featuring 16 new tracks. His career spans over four decades, earning him 10 gold and 7 platinum albums, as well as Grammy nominations.
