Forthcoming Fire, a German rock band from Bingen am Rhein, was formed in 1990. The group initially gained traction in the dark wave scene during the first half of the 1990s. Their breakthrough came with the 1993 album Illumination?, which featured guest vocals from Deutscher W. of OHL. By the mid-1990s, Forthcoming Fire began incorporating hard rock and metal elements into their sound, notably in the 1995 album Je Suis, which included tracks like "Der unbesiegte Sonnengott". In 1998, guitarist Jens Weimar and keyboardist Bernhard Klumb left the band. As a duo, Forthcoming Fire released In Flammen! in 2004, featuring industrial rock and electronic music elements. Their compilation album, Set The World On Fire, was released in 2010 and included remixes, cover versions, and new tracks. The band was considered disbanded since 2011.
