FLARE U (íë ì´ì ) is a South Korean male duo under FNC Entertainment consisting of Chuei Li Yu (ìµë¦½ì°) and Kang Woo Jin (ê°ì°ì§). Formed from former contestants of the survival show Boys II Planet, the group follows in the footsteps of project groups such as JBJ, RAINZ, I.B.I, and EVNNE, featuring participants who did not make the final debut lineup. Based in Seoul, South Korea, FLARE U officially debuted on May 13, 2026, with their first mini album Youth Error. The duo was first announced as part of a proposed spin-off group in January 2026 before being restructured into a two-member act in March of the same year. Their official group name was revealed on April 24, 2026, and they introduced their fan club name, U'RE, on their debut day. Since debuting, FLARE U has been active under FNC Entertainment, with EP Youth Error serving as their first release.
