First State, a Dutch trance group fronted by Sander van der Waal, also known as Sander van Dien. The duo initially consisted of Ralph Barendse and Van der Waal and made their debut in 2005 with a self-titled 12". Their first studio album, Time Frame, was released in 2007, featuring vocal performances from Tiff Lacey, Anita Kelsey, and Elliot Johns. The album included the single "Falling", which appeared on the compilation In Search Of Sunrise. In 2010, Van Dien released their second studio album, Changing Lanes, marking a stylistic shift with vocals from Sarah Howells and Kyler England. Their third studio album, Full Circle, was released in 2014, featuring collaborations with Tyler Sherritt, Neev Kennedy, Jaren Cerf, and Quilla.
