Biography

MC Cabelinho, born Victor Hugo Oliveira do Nascimento on January 28, 1996, in Rio de Janeiro, grew up in the Cantagalo–Pavão–Pavãozinho complex in Copacabana and began releasing music in 2016 with singles such as “16 Tá Aí” and “Voz do Coração.” He followed with his first album, Minha Raiz, in 2018, then expanded his profile in 2019 by entering television as Farula in the Globo telenovela Amor de Mãe while also scoring one of his early crossover milestones with “Até o Céu,” recorded with Anitta. In 2020 he released Ainda, and over the next three years he solidified his place at the intersection of rap, funk carioca, and melodic urban pop through LITTLE HAIR in 2021, Little Love in 2022, and LITTLE LOVE (DELUXE) in 2023. His acting career also kept growing, especially with his role as Hugo in Vai na Fé in 2023. In 2024 he returned with the single “De Menino Virou Little Hair,” performed at Rock in Rio, and closed the year with his fifth album, Não Sou Santo Mas Não Sou Bandido, a nine-track project shaped by a more introspective phase. In 2025 he added a film lead to his résumé with Confia: Sonho de Cria, then released ACÚSTICO DO LITTLE - PT. 1, which revisited his catalog in a stripped-back format. In 2026 he opened another chapter with PALÁCIO DE LONA, a full collaborative album with Tz da Coronel that brought him back into a harder rap-centered setting while continuing the run of major projects that has defined his career.
