Fabián Diez Cuesta, known professionally as Fabián D. Cuesta, and born on June 11, 1981, in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, is a Spanish singer-songwriter. He began his music career with the release of Plegarias EP in 2006, which was recognized by Mondosonoro as one of the Best National Demos of that year. His debut album, Espera a la primavera, followed in 2007 and was named the Best Album released in 2007 by Mondosonoro edición noroeste. Cuesta continued to gain critical acclaim with subsequent releases such as Adiós, tormenta (2009), which Efe Eme ranked as the 2nd Best National Album of that year, and Después del incendio y otras cosas asà (2011). His fourth album, (La brisa leve) La luz distinta (2013), was praised by Muzikalia and Mondosonoro in 2013.
