Biography

Eric Gable (born October 28, 1967, United States) is an American soul singer who emerged from the New York music scene. He began his career in the late 1980s, signing with Orpheus Records and releasing his debut single "Remember the First Time" in 1989 and "Love Has Got To Wait" the same year, establishing his presence on the R&B charts. In 1989, he released the album Caught In The Act, and in 1994 the album Process of Elimination; the single "Process of Elimination" reached number sixty‑three on the UK Singles Chart in March 1994. Throughout his active years from 1988 to 1994, Gable toured extensively in the United States, collaborated with contemporaries such as Tamika Patton, and secured a number‑one R&B hit with "Remember (The First Time)".
