Growing up in St. Pauls, Bristol, Anebsa was exposed to reggae music through his father's Black and White Café, where he encountered artists like U-Roy and Big Youth. His music often reflected his activism and personal beliefs, aiming to combat what he perceived as societal oppression. Anebsa's musical journey began with the release of his first album, U Gotta Believe, in 2000. Over the years, Anebsa has independently produced over 30 albums, including notable works such as Fighting (2016), Change My Life (2017) and Check their Credentials (2018).
