Biography

Ceredwen was a Welsh musical duo comprising Andrew Fryer and Renee Gray, active since 1997. The group was named after the Celtic goddess of inspiration. Their debut album Ã'r Mabinogi (Legends of the Celts), released in 1997, featured traditional and sampled Celtic instruments alongside contemporary rhythms and Gray's vocals. The album charted on the Billboard charts for three months and won three NAV awards. Ceredwenâs second album, The Golden Land, was released in 1999 and was inspired by the Druids' fight against the invading Roman army.
