Biography

Eigensinn, a German band from Neuenstadt am Kocher, was formed in 2003 by Nemesis, Holly, Marc Peters, and Thomas "Maschine" Paslawski. Their debut album, Eigensinn, was released that same year. In 2009, they released their second album, Die Wahrheit. The band's lineup changed over the years, with Pat McBazz replacing Peters in 2005 and Ole "Das Tier" taking over drums after Paslawski's departure. Eigensinn released the EP Endorphine in 2013 and another EP, Post Mortem, in 2015. Their third album, Persona Non Grata, was released in 2017. The band's music evolved from dark rock to a blend of metal and Neue Deutsche HÃ¤rte, with lyrics often addressing societal issues.
