Ebi Soda is a British jazz collective founded in Brighton around 2019. Known for its groundbreaking music, blending contemporary jazz with elements of electronic music, the group reflects a modern, experimental approach to improvisation and composition. Born out of improvised jam sessions, the collective quickly made a name for itself thanks to its energetic concerts and innovative recordings that shake up the codes of traditional jazz. Their debut albums include The Bedroom Tapes (2019), which captures the raw energy of their early sessions, followed by Ugh (2023), which further explores the fusion of genres, and Frank Dean and Andrew (2025), charted at No. 92 in the UK jazz and blues charts, which demonstrates the evolution of their sound with tracks blending electronic textures and improvised jazz.
