Easykid, born JoaquÃn Palacios in Antofagasta, Chile, on Augustâ¯16,â¯1995, began exploring music as a child influenced by MTV and bands like Green Day and Blinkâ182; he later launched his urban career performing under the name Juakisimo Crazy before adopting the moniker Easykid in 2017. That year he made waves with "Mvp," a collaboration with DrefQuila that reached over 1 million streams and led to a remix featuring Trainer and Paulo Londra, followed by his official debut EP Visionari (2019), which included tracks like "Pez Koi" (feat. Polimá Westcoast) and "Atrevia" (feat. Baby J & MLSHBTS). During the pandemic, he returned to Antofagasta to record +XQA (Más Chimba Que Ayer), released in August 2021 as a seven-song project showcasing his emotional, streetwise lyricism. On July 27, 2023, he released his second album Sorry, Estoy en Mi Darkera, a conceptual record built around inner doubt and cinematic influences, drawing over 85 million streams across its singles. In December 2023 he followed with the EP DÃas Antes de la Darkera, also produced by Dysbit. In 2024 Easykid joined Young Cister, Kidd Voodoo, and DrefQuila to form the collaborative collective Los 4F, releasing the EP Los 4F: El Origen and headlining the Movistar Arena gig just days later. Building on that momentum, he announced his debut Movistar Arena solo show for July 2025âtied to his third studio album IâM PART, which fused his trademark dark reggaetón with drum & bass and industrial textures. Easykid stands as one of Chileâs most stylistically ambitious urbano artists, combining lyrical vulnerability with sonic innovation.
