Dvar, an anonymous virtual band from Russia, formed in 1996 and is known for their darkwave and electronic music. The group's first release was a self-released tape titled Raii in 1997. In 2000, they issued the demo Taai Liira, followed by their debut album Piirrah on S.P.K.R/Radio Luxor in 2002. Dvar moved to Irond Records in 2003 and released several albums, including Roah and Rakhilim. In 2007, they signed with Gravitator and released Jraah Mraah. Their song "Teremiah K'ruun" used in an Alfa-Bank commercial. Notable releases include Zii (2008), Fayah! (2009), and El Mariil (2010). Their album Deii was released in 2012, followed by Metah in 2022. Dvar's music is characterized by electronic sounds and screeching vocals, with lyrics purportedly in the Enochian language. The band has maintained a mysterious persona, claiming their music is inspired by a supernatural being named Dvar.
