Dr. Sin, a Brazilian heavy metal band formed in São Paulo in 1991 by Eduardo Ardanuy and brothers Andria and Ivan Busic, began their journey with early bands Platina and Cherokee before forming Dr. Sin. Their first concert was on January 11, 1992 at the Black Jack in Sao Paulo. In 1992, they signed a contract with Warner Music and released their debut album Dr. Sin, which included the hit "Emotional Catastrophe." The band performed at the Hollywood Rock festival alongside Nirvana and L7, and toured as an opening act for Pantera. Their second album, Brutal (1995), showcased a heavier sound and was self-produced. In 2000, they released Dr. Sin II. Notable albums include Listen to the Doctors (2005), a cover album featuring classic rock songs, and Bravo (2007). The band's music has been featured in various media, including TV series and racing soundtracks.
