Biography

Daniel Manzano Salazar, known professionally as Dr. Kucho!, was born on December 4, 1972, in Madrid, Spain. As a DJ and record producer specializing in dance and electronic music, he began his career in 1992, initially editing discs for labels such as Quality Madrid and Virgin Records. In 1998, Dr. Kucho! joined Weekend Records, where he gained international recognition for tracks like "Patricia Never Leaves The House" (2001), which won the DJ Mag award for Best House Track of the Year. He also created numerous remixes for various artists and labels, including Sony Music and Warner Music Group. Dr. Kucho! founded his own label, Disc Doctor Records, in 2003, releasing notable tracks such as "Forbidden Planet" (2003) and "Hallelujah" (2006), the latter reaching Number 1 on Malta's music charts. In 2012, he joined Spinnin' Records, collaborating with artists like Wally Lopez and Klaas. Dr. Kucho! has also ventured into video game development, founding Dr. Kucho Games in 2014 and releasing titles such as Asteravoids (2015) and Ghosts'n DJs (2020). He continues to perform at prestigious festivals like Tomorrowland and conducts music production classes.
