Donna D'Cruz is an Indian-born musician and entrepreneur born in Chennai and raised in Australia. She began a meditation practice at age 17 before moving to New York City to pursue a career in the music industry. D'Cruz co-founded Australian Music International and later established her own record label, Rasa Music, in 1998. Recognized as a high-profile celebrity DJ, she has performed for major fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Dolce & Gabbana. In 2007, she received the Asian Women in Business Entrepreneurial Leadership Award and was named a "Trendsetter" by Condé Nast Publications. That same year, she was featured on Paper magazine's list of the world's "Most Beautiful People". D'Cruz was also elected to the Vogue100 and has performed at international events, including Amitabh Bachchan's birthday celebration. In addition to her musical work, she is a prominent advocate for wellness, sleep, and meditation.
