Biography

Donkeyboy, a Norwegian synthpop band from Drammen, was formed in 2005. The group gained initial recognition when Warner Music discovered their music on MySpace, leading to a record deal. Their debut single "Ambitions" was released in March 2009 and topped the Norwegian singles chart for 12 consecutive weeks. The band's first album Caught In A Life followed in October 2009. Donkeyboy supported a-ha on their UK and Oslo tour legs in November 2009 and won the European Border Breakers Award in 2011. Their second album Silver Moon was released in March 2012. The band's third album, Lost, featured a collaboration with artist Kiesza on the single "Triggerfinger". The band's notable achievements include three Spellemannprisen awards in 2009 for "Ambitions" and the album Caught In A Life.
