Belgian dance music project, Dee Dee, was formed in 2001 and consists of vocalist Diana Trippaers and producers Christophe Chantzis, Erik Vanspauwen & Tommie Kidjemet. The group's breakthrough came with the release of âForeverâ on July 16, 2001, which reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart and was certified gold in Hungary. This success led to numerous license offers from major labels such as EMI, Ministry of Sound, and Robbins Entertainment, resulting in international releases across Europe, Australia, Israel, Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, the US, and the UK. Dee Dee's follow-up single âThe Oneâ in 2002 received significant radio airplay and charted worldwide. In 2003, the group released âPour Toujoursâ, the French version of âForeverâ, with Independence Records in France. Despite plans for a full album in 2004, Dee Dee disappeared from the dance scene briefly before reforming with new collaborations and releases such as âLove Will Rise Againâ with German project 2 Vibez in 2009. The group continued to work on various projects and collaborations, including tracks like âI Want You Backâ featuring Ray & Snyder in 2010 and âThe Chosenâfeaturing Kimura, released worldwide on December 14. Dee Dee's discography also includes the album I Want You Back (2010), showcasing their enduring presence in the dance music genre.
