DJ Erise came to the attention of JoeyStarr (NTM) at a reggae festival held at the Bataclan in Paris, where he was working as a drummer at the age of 15. Born in 1982 in the Yvelines region of France, he grew up with the rhythms of jazz, funk and blues, joining a drum school at the age of ten. He subsequently became a drummer for a number of artists, hoping to reach the level of his role models Manu Katché and Paco Séry. In 2001, the musician toured with rappers Psy4 de la Rime and Arsenik as DJ for nine months. He then accompanied Pit Baccardi at the Urban Peace festival at the Stade de France. On September 25, 2004, he brought the house down at Bercy during the Génération Rap R&B concert, mixing for Singuila and M. Pokora, with whom he continues to collaborate. The man who dreams of being "France's Pharrell Williams", now recognized as a producer, released his first opus in 2016 under the name DJ Erise, featuring the track "En altitude", with collaborations from Mister You and Keblack. Subsequently, in 2017, he released the album Rizer with multiple guests and collaborated notably with S.Pri Noir, Franglish, or Aya Nakamura for the single "Pourquoi tu forces" . After a single with New in 2019, he returns to the spotlight in 2020 with the tracks "TECO" and "Monte en l'air", duets with Franglish and Naza respectively.
