Biography

Michelle Nicole Brown, born Septemberâ¯9â¯1974 in Toronto, Ontario, is a Canadian R&B and soul singer. Her breakthrough came with the 2005 single "Old Skool Love", which earned a SOCAN Numberâ¯1 Song Award. She followed with the selfâtitled album Divine Brown on 22â¯Augustâ¯2005, and the 2008 album The Love Chronicles, which won the 2009 Juno Award for Best R&B/Soul Album. Brown later issued the 2013 album Something Fresh and the 2016 single "Love Alibi" with 80â¯Empire. She has performed in major tours and in the 2023 Canadian premiere of Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812.
