Dina Aviv, known professionally as Din Din Aviv, was born on October 9, 1974, in Tel Aviv, Israel. She began her musical journey at a young age, recording an album with her mother and performing with her father. Aviv's breakthrough came as part of the Israeli band Gaya, contributing to their hit song "Shir La'Ahava (Yachad)." Following this, she joined the Idan Raichel Project and was featured on the hit single "Im Telech (If You Leave)." Aviv released her debut solo album, Sodotay (My Secrets), in 2006. The album earned her the Discovery of the Year award from ACUM and a Gold Album award in April 2007. Notable singles include "Familiar to Me from Once" and "Dreaming" (featuring Mush Ben Ari). In 2008, Aviv released her second album, Hofshia Ben Olamot (Free between Worlds). She received the Best Artist in Music award from the Israel Ministry of Culture in 2007.
