Diego Garcia, born in Detroit, Michigan to Argentine parents and raised in Tampa, Florida, is an American musician. He attended Brown University before embarking on his music career as the lead singer of Elefant, a New York-based band aligned with the postmodern movement. In April 2011, Garcia released his debut solo album Laura, inspired by his then-girlfriend and now wife. The album featured an Italian-born cellist and a Spanish-styled guitarist, showcasing Garcia's unique blend of dance music influences. On October 8, 2013, he followed up with his second solo album Paradise.
