Biography
Die Mütter is a German comedy and pop music group consisting of Thea Eichholz, Carola Rink, and Margarete Kosse, formed in 1999. The trio performed with pianist Eberhard Rink, presenting ironic and serious dialogues, scenes, and songs that reflected the daily lives of mothers and housewives. Their debut album, Kann den Bügeln Sünde sein?, was released in January 2006, highlighting their engagement with Christian faith. In 2010, they released Wir meinen's doch nur gut!, also recorded live. The group appeared on the talk show Das Gespräch mit Wolfgang Severin on Bibel TV and toured with programs such as Die Mütter auf Kur â Anwendungen für alle. Their final album, Für euch nur das Beste, was released in 2019, the same year they announced their disbandment.
