Dian Deng (born March 13, 1999) is a rising figure in Chinese pop music, known for his distinctive "magic voice" and smooth R&B style. Born in Jiaozuo, Henan Province, and educated at Sichuan Conservatory of Music, he first gained attention in 2016 through the local auditions of The Voice of China. In 2018, he officially debuted after securing fourth place in the talent show The Coming One 2, releasing his first EP D. By 2019, Deng signed with Sony Music, marking a milestone in his career. His 2020 debut album, Make a Scene, showcased his versatility with a blend of alternative R&B, electronic, and band arrangements. Notable tracks include "Cry and Aurora", which balance vibrant electronic elements with traditional band setups. Dengâs 2021 single "Fascinated" became a viral sensation, demonstrating his ability to evoke emotional depth with his grainy, emotive vocals.
