Biography
Delores Hall is an American stage actress and singer. She began a professional career in 1968 as an original member of the Los Angeles production of Hair, where she opened the show singing âAquariusâ. She achieved a professional breakthrough appearing in Broadway musicals such as Godspell (1972) and Dude (1972). Her debut studio album, Hall-Mark, was released in 1973 by RCA Records. In 1977, Hall received a Tony Award for her role in the musical revue Your Arms Too Short to Box with God. Her discography includes the studio album Delores Hall (1979) and her performance as Jewel in the original Broadway production of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1978). She also contributed to the recording Divine Hair / Mass in F (1971).
